Running on

Rios-Sierra says she is running for fully resourced schools with on-site mental health care and welcoming, peer-directed safe spaces to resolve conflicts, expanded equitable access to arts education, and protections for immigrant students including clear, consistent CPS communication regarding ICE activity. She also calls for stronger language access through translation services, dual language programs, and bilingual staff, and says she will fight school privatization to keep public money in public education.

Background

A community organizer and artist from Logan Square, she has worked at Palenque LSNA as cultural events manager, with experience in arts education, parent mentoring, and after-school programming. She was appointed to the board's District 3A seat in January 2025.
