Margie B. Luczak
Chicago Board of Education, District 1a, on the Chicago ballot November 3, 2026.
Running on
Luczak says CPS does not need more money until it fixes its existing problems. Her priorities include lowering property taxes and returning school resource officers to schools, which she says would give students positive contact with police. She says she would listen to the community's needs, and she has support from the Illinois Network of Charter Schools and The Urban Center.
Background
