Declared write-in candidate; the name is not printed on the ballot. In her Sun-Times questionnaire she calls for removing CPS's comprehensive sex education curriculum, giving parents vouchers to attend any school they choose, hiring more Black teachers, and returning phonics, cursive, and recess to the curriculum. She opposes raising the property tax levy until test scores improve, wants stricter limits on AI and devices in classrooms, and opposes opening new charter schools. She was removed from the printed ballot and was also a write-in candidate for District 5 in 2024.

Background

Retired CPS special education teacher who taught students with learning or behavioral disabilities at several CPS elementary schools in the 1980s and 1990s; Local School Council member at Austin College and Career Academy since 2025 and a Sunday school teacher on the West Side.
