Zaccor says she will press for full and fair funding for CPS from state and local progressive revenue sources and for equitable use of those funds. She campaigns on expanding the Sustainable Community Schools model, building robust restorative discipline practices, empowering student voice, and improving school food quality.

Background

Zaccor taught in Chicago Public Schools for about 29 years and co-founded Uplift Community High School in Uptown, retiring in 2024. She was appointed to the board's District 4a seat in January 2025 after running unsuccessfully for an elected seat in 2024.
