White says he would protect and expand selective enrollment and magnet programs, establish universal busing for elementary students outside walking distance plus free CTA passes for older students, and reject unbalanced budgets while making full pension payments. He also pledges to treat board membership as a full-time job with no outside work except teaching and to rewrite board ethics rules on conflicts of interest and procurement.
Background
Chicago Public Schools educator and third generation elementary educator whose roles have included pull-out ESL services, 8th grade science, 1st grade homeroom, and special education classroom assistant. He lost a March 2026 Democratic primary bid for a Cook County Board seat.
