Peralta says every family deserves access to a high-quality, fully funded public neighborhood school regardless of neighborhood, language, or their children's abilities. She says she wants to bring a community-centered, problem-solving approach to the board and be an advocate and voice for families across the district, building a school system that meets the needs of every student.
Background
She serves as district director for U.S. Rep. Delia Ramirez and previously was chief of staff to State Rep. Lindsey LaPointe. She is a CPS parent, CPS graduate, and former Local School Council member.
