On the ballot
- Bianca B. Brown (Democratic): Law firm associate, former chief attorney at the Chicago Transit Authority (2021-2025), and former Cook County assistant state's attorney and Illinois assistant attorney general; won a three-way primary with 57.81%.
- Natalia Moore (Democratic): Lead attorney in the Cook County State's Attorney's child support services division since 2008; won the primary over Meridth Hammer, 74.67% to 25.33%.
