Running for the open seat with the endorsement of retiring Ald. Matt O'Shea, who announced in September 2026 that he will not seek a fifth term. She says she wants to work more closely with community groups, create more opportunities for community engagement and gatherings, and support first responders at a time of reduced police staffing. Her campaign site's slogan is "Safe streets. Strong schools. Thriving businesses." and it does not yet publish a detailed platform.
