Running on
Is seeking a third term, WTTW reported in August 2026. His campaign site lists housing, transportation, public safety, good governance, education and the environment as key issues. He says he will keep building more homes by reforming the ADU ordinance and barring alders from opting their wards out, allow three-flats by right across the 1st Ward, and work with the Here to Stay Land Trust on long-term homeownership.
Background
1st Ward alderman since 2019; urban planner, former community organizer with the Logan Square Neighborhood Association and the Jane Addams Senior Caucus, and former policy and planning associate at Friends of the Parks.
