Running on
Says he would govern from the political center under a platform he calls Renovate the American Dream. On the cost of living, he proposes expanding domestic oil and gas production alongside renewable energy, ending tariffs on food, requiring and incentivizing banks to make small mortgages on low-priced homes, and making the first year of community college free. He also proposes student loan forgiveness for doctors who open Direct Primary Care clinics, redirecting 20 percent of the defense budget to military bases, roads, bridges, rail, and the power grid, and having unemployment benefits match part of an employer's wages to get people back to work.
