Running on
Ford's campaign site lists health care that puts people first, living wages for today's cost of living, child care and early learning, an affordable housing plan for the 7th District, and support for troops and veterans as his platform planks, and contrasts a "Project 2027" with Project 2025. His about page says his priorities include jobs and economic mobility through small business support, mental health and opioid crisis response, record sealing, expungement, and bail reform, and protection from foreclosure and eviction. He campaigns on 19 years in the Illinois House as experience that is ready on day one.
