Castillo's campaign site lists no tax on tips and overtime, voter ID for voting and registration, border security, school choice for low-income families, and support for law enforcement. She also says she wants to protect women's sports and girls' bathrooms, direct federal funds to needy Americans rather than nonprofits, and end congressional pay during government shutdowns. In an April 2026 Chicago Tribune interview she said businesses in the district need more support and that immigrants should come to the country legally.

Background

A Little Village resident of more than four decades, she is a former pharmacy technician who previously served as 22nd Ward Republican committeewoman and was the district's Republican nominee in 2024.
